Good evening! Please check your child's folder tonight. In it you will find their Social Studies study guide for their upcoming test and their study guide for the End of the Year Math Assessment. The Social Studies test will be on Monday, June 4 and the Math test will be on June 7.

Keep studying those Word Wall Words! Our Unit 6 test is June 6 and the culminating tests will be on June 11 and 12. Our Unit 6 Benchmark Test for Language Arts will be moved to Tuesday, June 5.

Tonight for homework, students should complete Home Link 12.7 and use each spelling word in a sentence.

Good evening! Don't forget, tonight is Ocean Night! Ms. Lunghi and I will be doing an experiment in my room from 6:00-6:45.

Next week we will be reading our last Scott Foresman story. We will be focusing on words that are spelled with -ear, -our, and -tion. We will also be focusing on writing a persuasive letter and using suffixes. Our Unit 6 Benchmark Test will be given on June 4. Our Unit 6 Word Wall Spelling Test will be on June 6.

We will also have a Word Wall Spelling Test that covers the words the students have learned throughout the year. This test will be given on June 11 and 12. A letter will be sent home tomorrow with all of the words.

In Math, we will finish Unit 12. Our Unit 12 Test will be used as a review and students will only take the End of the Year Assessment, not the Unit 12 Test. The End of Year Math Assessment will be given on June 7.

Good afternoon! There is no homework this week due to the students taking Oxford's district assessment. Please make sure your child gets to school on time! Next week we will read our last story in Scott Foresman. Our Unit 6 Word Wall Test will be on June 6. A list of words will be sent home next week. Our Unit 6 Benchmark Test will be on June 4. Our End of the Year Math Assessment will be on June 7. A list of concepts to know will go home next week.

Good evening! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the concert tonight! Tomorrow is our field trip. Wear sneakers and bring a sweatshirt. Remember, no lunch boxes. Please bring a bag lunch.

Next week we start our district assessment. We will take the Language Arts and Math tests Monday-Friday. Please make sure your child eats a good, healthy breakfast, and he/she is on time to school.

For homework tonight, students should read for 15 minutes and complete  Home Link 12.2.

Good evening! Boy do we have a busy week this week! The Book Fair is tomorrow. Please send in money with your child if you would like them to purchase something. They can also buy before or after the concert on Wednesday. Speaking of concerts, the concert is Wednesday night! We have our trip to the Sterling Mine on Thursday. Dress warm, it gets chilly in there!

For homework tonight, students should write their spelling words 3 times each. There is not any Math homework since we took our test today.

Good evening! We have been working on multiplication facts in Math this week. Our Unit 11 Test will be on Monday. A study guide will be sent home Friday. In Language arts we are learning how to spell words with -dge, like bridge and judge. We will be completing our Shell ID boxes tomorrow. Make sure you stop by to "sea" them on Ocean Night!

For homework tonight students should write their spelling words in ABC order and complete Home Link 11.7.

Good evening! May is going to be a busy month! We will be completing our last round of DRA reading assessments on May 10. We will be taking our Unit 11 Math Test on Monday, May 14. Our field trip is May 17 and district testing will be the week of May 21.

For homework tonight students should complete Home Link 11.4 and use their spelling words in sentences. Please continue to practice writing multiplication number stories with your child.
