Good afternoon! Next week student's will be finishing their M.A.R.E. travel brochures, along with their "Gift of Age" projects. The "Gift of Age" project will be the 6th grade's quarterly assessment for Language Arts.

June 7 is quickly approaching! Be sure to come out and view all of the students' hard work on their research projects. Oxford Central's Day of Learning will be held on June 7 from 9-11 a.m. in the cafeteria.

Dances and paintings are due Tuesday, June 1!

Monday- Spelling 5 x's each, Compare/Contrast essay, sign Daily Word Work, Read chapters 1-4 in Island of the Blue Dolphins and answer comprehension questions.

Tuesday- Spelling page 94, Practice book page 233, Grammar page 117, Read chapters 5-6

Wednesday- Spelling p. 95, Practice book pages 237-238, Grammar page 118, Read chapters 7-9

Thursday- Spelling p. 96, Practice book page 240, Grammar page 119, Read chapters 10-12

Friday- Read chapters 13-16
