We will work on the following skills next week:
Language Arts-writing narratives, words that end with -y that say the long e sound, subject-verb agreement
Math-We will be having our test review Monday. Our test will be on Tuesday, March 1. We will then begin Chapter 8 (Measurement).
Social Studies-We will learn about producers and consumers and reading maps.
Book reports are due on Tuesday, March 1!
Scholastic orders are due Friday, March 4.
Homework Schedule:
Monday-3 times each, study for math test
Tuesday-ABC order
Wednesday-Sentences, math sheet 8.1
Thursday-Study for spelling test, math sheet 8.2

Week of February 8
We will work on the following skills this week:
Language Arts-make predictions throughout a story, use pronouns, add -ed and -ing to base words where you need to double the final consonant (clap is clapped/clapping, run is running, skip is skipped/skipping, etc.), writing a narrative. Our spelling and reading test will be on Thursday!
Math-We will continue to count money and tell time.
Science- We will learn about motion.
Our homework schedule is as follows:
Monday-Math sheet 7.6 and 3 times each
Tuesday-Math sheet 7.6 (Enrich) and ABC order
Wednesday-Math sheet 7.7 and sentences. Also study for spelling test.
Continue to work on book reports.
