Week of March 21

Spelling books are being sent home today. If for some reason we get a snowstorm and school is cancelled on Monday, students should still complete 3 times each. We will have a spelling and story test on Thursday!

We will be learning how to measure in centimeters in Math.

In Science we will be learning about Spring.

Homework schedule:
Monday-3 times each, Math sheet 9.2
Tuesday-ABC order, Math sheet 9.3
Wednesday-Sentences and study for test. Sentences must have 9 or more words. Students will also have Math sheet 9.4

Book reports are due April 4! The book needs to be nonfiction and contain facts about an animal and it's life cycle.

Week of March 14

***We will be taking our Unit 4 Language Arts Benchmark tests and Word Wall test this week. The Word Wall test will be on Wednesday. Keep studying! We will also complete a full Language Arts lesson, so there will be homework this week!

***Our Math test will be on Thursday, March 17.

Homework Schedule:
Monday-3 times each, Math sheet 8.9
Tuesday-ABC order, study for math test
Wednesday-Use each spelling word in a sentence. Each sentence must have at least 8 words. Study for math test.
Thursday-Study for spelling test

Keep working on your book report! It is due April 1.

We will work on the following this week:

Language Arts-writing narratives, using graphic features within texts, spelling words with -ar, using commas in dates and places

Math-measurement

Social Studies-Our test is on Thursday, March March 10. Continue to study the study guide that was sent home at the beginning of the unit.
