Good evening! The Family History projects came out beautifully. We all have a lot of interesting information about our families!

Our Unit 8 Math Test will be on Wednesday, March 7. Students should study tonight and tomorrow night for the test. Students should also write their spelling words three times each.

Keep practicing spelling those multisyllabic words! Remember, for each syllable (clap) you need a vowel!

Our class Tricky Tray theme is Spa Day! We appreciate all the donations that have come in. It's not too late if you'd like to donate to our basket!

For homework tonight, students should use each spelling word in a sentence and complete Home Link 8.6. Students will have their Unit 8 Math Test on Wednesday, March 7. A study guide will be sent home Monday.

Happy Leap Day! Please remember, our Social Studies project about our families is due this Friday, March 2. We will have a spelling test on Unit 4's Word Wall words on Monday, March 5. Make sure you are studying the words at home! If you are interested in ordering from the March Scholastic, orders are due Monday, March 5.

For homework tonight, students should read their Phonics Reader and complete Home Link 8.5.

Reading Logs are due tomorrow!

Good evening! This week we are introducing spelling multisyllabic words. In class we practiced clapping words into syllables, and then spelling each individual syllable. Students should remember that each clap needs to have a vowel when they write it out.

We took the reading part of our Unit 4 Benchmark Test today, and we will take the writing portion tomorrow. Family Projects for Social Studies are due on Friday, March 2. On Monday, March 5 we will have a spelling test on Unit 4's Word Wall words. Make sure you are studying your words! On Wednesday, March 7 we will have our Unit 8 Math Test. A study guide will be sent home on Monday, March 5.

For homework tonight, students should complete Home Link 8.3 and write their spelling words 3 times each.
