Good evening! For tonight's homework, students should read their Phonics Reader to a parent or guardian. Please sign the form in their baggy next to the first story. Students should also read for 15 minutes.

September 11

Good afternoon! The Scholastic Book Fair is tomorrow. If you would like your child to make a purchase, please send in the money tomorrow. Please make sure it is in an envelope labeled with his or her name on it.

For homework tonight, students should write their spelling words in ABC order. We practiced writing the first 5 words in class. Please write the other words on the same page, making sure your child skips a line between each word. The spelling notebook should be returned each day with your child's completed homework still attached to the book. Please do not rip it out.

Good evening! The first day of school was a success and the students are excited to learn! Please check your child's folder for important forms that need to be returned to school as soon as possible. Our schedule for specials is:

Monday-Family Life
Tuesday and Wednesday-Gym
Thursday-Art
Friday-Music

Please make sure your child wears sneakers on days our class has Gym.

Welcome Back!

I am looking forward to seeing all of the smiling faces the first day of school! The first day is Wednesday, September 5. Please make sure you have all of your supplies with you. You will need the following:

*One standard-sized pencil case. Anything bigger won't fit in your desk.
*10 Sharpened Pencils
*Scissors
*Crayons
*Washable markers
*Colored pencils
*A hand sharpener for colored pencils
*1 bottle Elmer's Glue
*3 Glue sticks
*4 Composition notebooks (no spiral bound notebooks)
*4 Folders

Please be sure to label all of your child's supplies with permanent marker.
