Good evening! Our plant unit has come to an end, but your child should be able to describe the 4 basic parts of the plant and what they do. We put some radish and lima bean seeds into clear freezer bags to see the process a plant goes through. If your child's seed has not sprouted, please make sure the paper towel is damp and left in a sunny spot. If your child's seed has sprouted, they may plant it in soil if they would like. The seeds do not have to come back, but I can't wait to hear if any of the lima bean seeds sprout over break since only one set of those seeds did in class. Have a great break.
