Week of December 19

We will have our Holiday Party on Friday, December 23 from 11:00-11:30. Friday is a 1:00 dismissal.

We will work on the following skills this week:

Language Arts-drawing conclusions, spelling words with -s and -es, writing compound sentences with conjunctions (and, but, or), writing persuasive letters

Math-subtraction with and without borrowing

Social Studies-holidays around the world

Week of December 12

We will be taking our Unit 2 Language Arts Benchmark Tests on Monday and Tuesday and Word Wall Test on Wednesday. There will not be any spelling homework this week.

We will continue to learn how to subtract in Math, and we learn about the planets in Science.
